Paris, France

Raven gets a disgusted look on her face.  "What a disgusting asshole..."

"He's not that bad once you get to know him, got me on my feet when I was astray..."

"That doesn't change the fact that he's a disgusting asshole."

"...okay fair enough."

Raven actually manages a small smirk, feeling a bit better talking to Topher.

"There we go!" He smiled at her, "That's better!"

"... I really want to know, Topher.  After everything I've done, why do you want to be friends with me?"

"Well..." He thinks about his answer, "Guess if I had to pick a reason it'd have to be, I like you." He shrugged, "Can't really explain it, just..." He waves his hand around in the air to try and phrase his answer, "it's like a bond I think."

She raises a brow, then starts to chuckle a bit.  "That's the cheeziest thing I've ever heard."

He gives her a playful shove, "Hey, do you see the name Shakespeare on my jacket tag? Give me a break!" He laughs in spite of himself.

Raven laughs, almost forgetting about the whole Crouch ordeal.  Hell, she doesn't even remember the last time she laughed like this... At least, not maniacally.

With each chuckle Topher could feel just his entire spirit uplift as though repaying a burdenous debt from long ago. He may have failed to save Raven before, but he could do it now. And what's more, Raven was truly a great friend once you got her away from Captain Whackjob. Funny, edgy, and loyal, it made lament the lost years they could've had.

"So... What now, then?" She wants to keep feeling happier before she thinks of the fight again.

"I don't know! Go out, have fun?"

"What would we go do?"

"Nothing involving murder that's for sure!" He joked.

Raven looks down, not knowing what to say.

The Fox spirit guided the girl through the busy flocks of wizards in Paris, surprisingly knowledgeable of the surrounding area for someone who had not visited in over a century. He spoke to her in a low tone, scanning the environment as they paced towards the monument.

"I will leave you in the escorting powers of Topher and Amaya, although I doubt you will need to rely on them." He knew wasting words with the girl was pointless, for she'd only scowl if he spoke of the obvious.

"I'm going to be followed." She stated flatly, feeling as if every pair of eyes in the crowds could train on her in any second. Her hood was placed firmly over her head, shrouding her appearance and body in complete safety. Donia had heavily warded herself with concealment and notice-me-not charms, aware that using more... potent magic would land her in more danger than she would like.

"That's the point." Lukas smirked at her, relishing in the girl's twinge of anxiety. It was minute, but it was enough to bring a smile to his face.

But Donia appeared otherwise stoic, clearly prepared for the outcome of living amongst the enemy, whilst being the enemy to the Death Eaters. In short, Donia appeared a traitor to all.

Topher was waiting on the top floor of the Eiffel tower, looking out into the sunset. 

"I should come here more often..." He whispered to himself, feeling that familiar tranquility he always found up on this tower.

His grandfather's attempts to make him his heir, a distant memory. His entire part in defeating the death eaters at hogwarts, however minimal, it may as well have never even happened. His painful longing to see Potion again... that one was hard to escape from. But up here, there was at least a chance. 

He had no idea why he could feel such comfort up here but as Joachim used to tell him, 'If it's REALLY good, don't question it.' 

He felt a smirk come to his face. He knew his friend probably meant something along the lines of girls or money or some other earthly pleasure, but he was right. Sometimes you just had to go with what felt right.

Just like now.

Lukas led her to the base of the tower, before abruptly announcing "you're here now, don't die anytime soon. Bye!" Before weaving his way back into the people to try and find a target for his hedonism.

Donia sighed, taking the steps to the top floor one at a time, avoiding the elevator in case it was a trap. At least on the stairs, she could run. 

It took a while, but when she reached the top she slowly knocked, arm curled around her wand and lifting her charms.

The knock shook Tophere out of his labyrinth of melancholy. It took him all of a fraction of a second to try to remember why he was there to begin with if not for the scenery.  

He was helping Amaya hide a traitor to the DE, or whatever was left of them.

He turned to face her, "Oh hey! How's it going?" He smiled at her friendlily.

She managed to pull her lips into a smile, slowly pulling down her hood now that she realised there were no other presences in the room. Her white hair hung as curtains in front of her face, appearing almost meek in her stature. 

"I- uh, Thanks for doing this." Donia mumbled almost awkwardly, unsure how to go forward. "Things haven't been as smooth as they must appear for people not forced on the wrong path." She wanted to inform him of the rising power of the Death Eaters, assuming he had never trailed down the road towards their cause before.

"Yeah, I admit, I haven't had my ear to the ground as close as some other people. I kinda figured I'd be a low priority to those guys. Maybe that's why May wanted me to do this." 

"So hey, she never properly told me your name." He made a small chuckle, trying to ease the awkwardness, "Gonna need to call you something if we're going to be roommates. Name's Topher! Top, Toph, Christophe, or pretty boy are also acceptable." 

It only just occurred to him now just how many nicknames he had by this point.

"Pretty boy?" Her lips quirked in amusement. "Sounds like Amaya's doing." She remarked, considering whether to tell him her real name. As she believed names had no influence anyway, she didn't see the point hiding it. If he could somehow tell she was lying, it would mean he wouldn't trust her.

"And it's Donia. Although I'm used to being summoned with "you" and "girl" and having fingers pointed at me, rather than people actually remembering i'm a human being."

She said it so flippantly that it was apparent she didn't want to talk about it too much, simply recalling what she had been through at the hands of Lord Voldemort. "But I'm glad I'm past that now - or at least, i hope. I want to be my own person." Whether this confession was true or not didn't seem so obvious.

"I'll use Topher, for now. It's polite."

"Okay Donny it is!" 

"And don't you worry. I'm pretty damn low on the Death Eater's radar so they wouldn't even think of looking there." He assured her, trying to help her feel more at peace. He didn't even want to imagine what she'd been through by their hands...

"Anywho..." His mind flooded with different things he could try to bring up to ease any awkwardness of living with a stranger for god knows how long. He looked back toward the horizon fro the tower and tried for some small talk, "Like quidditch?'
