The Nuel Household

"Oh, of course! Remember, you're welcome back at any time!" Sally smiles and hugs her.

Amaya stiffened for a second, still taken aback with how generous the woman had been. 'I hope it doesn't sound weird, but you've acted so nice towards me, i guess you've been like the mother i never had.' The girl forced her shoulders to drop, hugging the woman back. 

'I'll be sure to visit you soon.' Amaya offered a light and gracious smile, one that wasnt often found on her usual sour expression. Stepping back, the girl prepared to apparate.

Sally smiles, having heard that one a lot.  "Don't be a stranger!"

Ooc this was actually a really sweet scene  didn't realise Amaya had a heart

OOC Yeah, always expect sweet moments with Sally. :3 She's like everyone's mother! xD

Jack and Death eventually arrive at Jack's lab that is in the basement of Jack's home.  Jack immediately stumbles to a counter, getting a syringe and taking out his own blood so he can analyze it and make an antidote from it.

"Anything I can do to help?" he asked, standing back and letting the man work.

"Unless your magic can turn the poison back to my blood, then no..."

"What kind of poison is it? Or do you not know?"

"All I know at the time is Crouch used magic to turn some blood from a cut into poison... I'm analyzing it now so I can make an antidote based off of it... Unless your magic can change it back."

"I was never really good at remedial magic. Sorry."

"It's fine..." Jack coughs, mixing chemicals until he finally has a finished product.  He shakily takes the antidote, feeling the poison dissolve after a few minutes.  He sighs with relief.  

"Now then, did you have a plan for Crouch?"

"Right to the point, I see. I do have a plan and now that you've shown me your affinity for potion-making, and perhaps more, you've made up my mind. I want to create a pill or potion to bring Crouch back down to earth."

Jack starts to laugh madly.  "Bring back sanity? Why not just kill him and rid of him all together?"

"Not an option, my friend. Crouch lives."

"Why?"  He must be one of them... But I'll play along for now...

"Who else is going to keep the Death Eaters in check? Certainly not me."

"They all deserve to die... I was planning on killing every single one of them."

"Killing them will make you no better than them. Death cannot overcome death. Evil cannot be wiped out by using more evil. People do not grasp that.  There needs to be harmony in this crazy world. For there cannot be peace without war. There cannot be good without evil. Otherwise, neither has a point." He looked over at Jack to see if he was listening.

OOC Can I just say, that was beautiful. I'm so proud of that. -teary eyes-

OOC -applauds- 

IC Jack smirks.  "You think I don't know that? That I don't know how insane I really am? All I want is to protect my family... While it's true, killing them all might be over board, I won't rest until Crouch and Raven are dead..." He looks at Death, his madness truly showing.  "But I am curious to see what Crouch is like sane..."

OOC I just got to say, I really enjoyed that section, Death! If what he's saying is to be believed, then he stands in pretty much perfect contradiction to Crouch's beliefs. Crouch basically believes the world needs to be drowned in anarchy and that all institutions of order have to be destroyed. It's so funny how they have stalwartly different beliefs but are on the same side (more or less). 

This to me, really shows Death is a very well written and strong character. He doesn't just conform to what he's expected to believe, he forms his own views and acts in tangent to what will suit them and his cause. I REALLY love that! Well done!

Ooc -blushes- Awww, thank you, guys. I'm so proud of my Deathy. He's grown so much. -continues to babble gooey nonsense- Anyway, thanks. I do agree with you, Crouch. I love how contradictory their beliefs are and yet they still work so well together. I ship their bromance

Ic "Maybe you should give it a chance. Test that theory. See what Crouch would do if he were sane."

"I suppose I will..." And add a little something special...

"A scientist such as yourself wouldn't want to miss an opportunity like this." He smiled at Jack. "I'm glad you're taking it."

"Yes... Me too..."  Mostly because I'm testing an experiment of my own... He grins, getting to work on this potion or pill.
