She smiles back, lying down and cuddling up next to him.

He holds onto her close. "You know... you're my only good thought now..."

Sam blushes, "I'm so happy all that is over..."

"Me too..." He held onto her even tighter, as though holding her from flying away from him.

"I mean it though. I have to cast aside every memory I have of Helm now."

"Speaking of... What happened with him?"

"Liria erased his identity, past and present."

Sam's eyes widen, "Wow...."

"Yes, and I'd be wise to forget him as well... the past only brings pain."

Sam nods, "Good idea."

He kissed her cheek, "All that matters is you and our future."

Sam nods, kissing him.

Jack and River arrive at his home. He lets her in, and a sweet, chipper voice can be heard from the kitchen. "Jack? Is that you?"

I freeze by the door, clutching the half stone like it was a life line. 'what if she doesnt want me here?'

"Yes, Sally. We have a guest!" Jack says, and immediately after, a woman with dirty blonde hair and a pink shirt with blue jeans walks in. She sees River and smiles, always happy to see a guest.

"Why hello! Come in!"

i slowly start walking into the house, my eyes darting around, taking eveything in.

"I'm Sally. Are you hungry? I'm making spaghetti!"

'No...thank you.'

"Alright, then! Let me know if you want anything!" As Sally continues to prepare the food, Jack explains the whole story to her. Afterwards, she looks at River, compassion and pity in her eyes. She walks over to her and sits down. "Are you okay?"

I shake my head, looking away from the woman. 'Please...dont be nice to me. I dont dereve it..'

"Of course you do! From what I heard, you see the good in everyone, no matter how locked up it may be."

'But that doesnt mean anything! Not anymore...the world is covered in darkness and everyones light is fading and there is nothing i can do to help anyone.'

"The world may be covered in darkness, but that doesn't mean that the light is completely fading.  My husband is a good example of that."

''your husband thinks im crazy because i cant kill the person spredng the shadows.'

"Jack just feels that killing Crouch is the only way to stop him and protect those he loves.  We've never seen any good in Crouch, but the fact that you're so hopeful must mean that you have.  There's a good possibility that it's still there, but he's just locked it up deep inside of him that he won't let anyone touch.  Jack was the same way...  Still can be sometimes."

'my brother...' i shake my head. 'Crouch, before he became Crouch, he was barty. And he was the one person i would trust, because he was the brother any person would wish for. He protected me and took every hit our fahter wanted to ive out to me...I cant cope with the idea that that person has gone. Barty as to be in there somewhere...but even i cannot see him anymore.'
