Hospital Wing

His eyes, his whole face even, continue to twitch.  I start to grip one of my daggers from my trench coat when I imagine myself torturing Crouch until he's dead.  "He needs to die..."

"You don't think I've thought that every day since I've met him?" Phoenix's hands became fists at her sides, anger making her frame tremble slightly. "But we can't do this out of revenge, Jack. If we really are going to find a way to put a stop to him - one way or another - then it needs to be planned."

"I could have killed him once... He would've been out of everyone's lives forever..."  I look at Sally, a sort of envy and love coming to my face, "But she stopped me from taking his life..."

She swallowed, averting her gaze as she tried to recollect herself. "I've killed for my family before, but that was from revenge. It's not quite what I hoped it would be. But for their protection - I'd do that in a heartbeat."

"Sally just amazes me... He kidnapped her.  She knows the things he has done.  She stopped me..."  I sigh, starting to tense a little again, "But killing him is the only way to stop him..."

"He'll just continue to hurt everyone unless someone puts a stop to it. He's proven time and again that simply getting rid of his powers isn't enough." Phoenix shook her head slightly, grim.

"And locking him up does no good... They ALWAYS seem to bust out!  He needs to be stopped, once and for all!"

Phoenix smiled, but it was somehow a little bit off. She kept her voice soft, casting a glance across at Eugene and Sally. "Maybe we should team up. It looks like we have similar ideas."

OOC: Ahh, Phoenix and Jack DO look like they'd be a good team though!

OOC  I think so too!  >:3

IC  I nod, "He needs to stop hurting the people we care for..."  But I feel sick on the inside, knowing that I hurt strangers, people that have families.  I'm washed over with a sudden pang of guilt and shame.

OOC: I almost forget that there was a darker side to Phoenix's character, because I almost never let it out.

IC: "It won't just be for the benefit of our families, either. It's for the good of a lot more people, probably ones we don't even know, that we stop him." Phoenix's resolve was strengthening with each word she said. Crouch needed to be stopped, whether that involved killing him or not.

"Maybe if we brainwashed him or erased his memory he wouldn't have to be killed... And then there's the matter of his pawns as well..."

"Even if we cut off the head of the creature that the Death Eaters are, another one will regrow in its place..." She looked upwards thoughtfully, humming softly. "Do you know of anything that we might be able to poison the system with? Not literally, of course, I'd rather avoid killing if we could, but something that might have the effect of removing memories or brainwashing?"

"Kill the bastard who started it all?  Give them a conscience in some way?"

Her look turned sceptical, and just a bit amused. "You mean You Know Who? First of all, there's no way we could manage to defeat him. Second, that would only make them angry."

"Anyone can be killed...  But if they kept losing more and more, they'd be hopeless..."

"You know, that's an interesting idea... making them lose hope."

"But how could we do that?  They're probably the most arrogant and optimistic assholes on this planet!"

"I don't know." Phoenix sighed, running a hand across her face and up through her hair. "I don't know. It'll be difficult."

"But one thing we have to remember is that ANYTHING'S possible, no matter how impossible it seems..."

"Yes, you're exactly right." Phoenix nodded, casting another furtive glance over at their respective partners. "Maybe we should meet and discuss this in detail another time?"

I nod, "Yes."

"Let me know when there's a time that's good for you."

Eugene let out some moans, looking over at Krystal.

She walked straight over to his bed, stil scanning the room. 'do you know how much of an idiot you are? although an amazing one.' She muttered

"Anytime is good for me..."
