OOC I'll send my hero after you.

Small disturbances had been reported throughout the city. The sun would rise soon, but even so it was worth addressing.

The white hooded warrior drew his blade and tried to find what was responsible.

Smiling to himself, Loki melted into a crowd of people outside a theatre. In one of his more tame tricks, he tilted his staff downward until the tip tapped the pavement. Ice spread from the point, snaking across the ground until people began to slip.

It really was quite childish, but amusing.

Joker was watching from the various cameras he himself at set up, and found himself roaring with laughter, "Slapstick is truly an art..."

Just then Shadow Embracer pointed his blade at the well dressed man, "Sir, I must ask that thou stop.."

Loki tilted his head to the side in an almost reptilian movement. "Whatever for? Idle humour is no sin." Smiling charmingly, the trickster righted his staff again and let his gaze run over the man before him. He didn't seem special, unlike Thor or any of his brothers so called 'friends'.

Joker's interest grew ever higher as a new man in long underwear appeared. Maybe this new city would be as fun as Gotham after all.

"Idle humor perhaps not, but your trickery could prove dangerous..."

"There's no harm in simple fun and games."

But trickery, schemes...

A smile began to grow on the God of Mischief's face. "Have I truly harmed anyone yet?"

The hero looked as some of the people, there didn't seem to be any true harm done. "No, but with talent's like thou's, it should be used for a higher calling."

Joker slowly frowned, "Come on! Boost the ratings! We need action!!"

The smile slipped and seemed to fall flat on the icy ground.

"I tried a higher calling," Loki said levelly. "I tried. I proved my willingness, but I was refused, cast out. Your words are falling on deaf ears, my friend."

"I know not the sovereign who beseech this fate on you, but the sovereign that owns my sword will not allow harm on the innocents."

The Joker at this point had grabbed a bowl of popcorn and was eating it as he watched, "I swear Batsy doesn't talk as weird as this guy..."

1..2...3 aaaand boom! Another explosion, man I neva' get tired of this!
I mean really, how many innocent people does a girl gotta' blow up to get a guys attention?
Speaking of...I wonder where Mr. J is? It took me a while but I found my puddin' eventually, cartwheeling over to him I smile.
"Hiya Mr. J, whatcha' doin?"

And I should've guessed it wouldn't be hard for my most reliable minion to find me...

I smile at her lovingly, despite only loving myself, "Hey there, poo! Like the new home?" I gesture to the theater, "A bit of a rodent problem but not as bas as the one in Gotham..."

I giggle
"It's perfect! So what's the plan now hm?" I gesture to myself, "like my new outfit? Pretty hot huh."

I chuckle a bit, "You just know how to dress baby... and first I'm watching some of the super folks in this town.." I gesture to the TV screen, "I'm surprised their mommies let them out of the house looking like that..."

I laugh as I watch the screens too
"Ha! They look no betta' than Bats back in Gothum!" I put my arms on his shoulders and giggle
"Sooo, find anyone interestin? I'm DYING to blow someone up today puddin!"

"Well poo, you're in luck! I found out there's a gala where all the richest people will be gathering, and the folks at home will be watching. I figure the they need some entertainment!" I start cackling like a lunatic.

I start laughin' crazily
"Yippe! Thanks Mr.J! Now I hope some a' the super folks show up! What's entertainment without a little somethin' special?"
I start playing with an old photo a bats that had a bunch of holes through it.

"Me too!" I then sink into my chair, almost depressed "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I almost miss old guano-man... what would he do without our little game?"

I sigh, following my puddin's mood
"I dunno, but maaaybe we can pay em' a visit after the fun's ova here! I'm sure he misses us too!" I start to laugh

Loki began to pace slowly, walking towards this hero. His grey eyes glittered with something akin to curiosity. "Your quarrel should not be with me," he said, choosing his words carefully. "For it is not I that made myself this way. Take this petty feud up with my brother, Thor. Finding him would be an easy task."

The trickster gestured to the sky, which was, sadly, clear. "Where thunder goes, he follows."

Shadow Embracer: "I do not see this Thor before me causing this."

Joker: "But hey, let's cheer up! Maybe if we stir up enough trouble, batsy will have no choice but to visit!" I immediately cheer up, jumping out of my chair excitedly.

Loki gave a little, faint laugh. "He'll be along sooner or later, I have no doubt about that."

Switching entirely, he raised his chin slightly, an eyebrow raising. "I don't believe I caught your name."

"The people of this time know me as Shadow Embracer,"

"A fitting name." Loki inclined his head towards him. "I am Loki."

"You do not look to be of this time either."

"I am from Asguard." Technically, Loki should have been there, imprisoned for his crimes. But, unsurprisingly, he'd used his talents for mischief to escape.
