"No... I'll see you around..." He stood up with his book and walk out, taking it upon himself to keep an eye on her.

as soon as the man had left her eyeline she peered down at the parchment more carefully, before taking out another set of papers and copying the script neatly.

I want you to meet me in Baker Street on the 16th. I know it's difficult because you don't have magic like I do, but it's okay. We won't be any different here!

He was cowering in a corner of the library hiding from all that was going on around him. He was shaking violently and had a death grip on his wand in case a Death Eater tried to attack him.

He silently crept up to the other boy and took hold of his wand, before he did something stupid. 'Its over, teddy. Thee fightings stopped.'

He jumped at the young man's voice. He looked up at the familiar face and lost it. He burst into tears and buried his head in Xander's chest. "I was so scared!" he sobbed.

Xander wrapped his arms around him after a hesitation. 'Its ok. i know..'

He grabbed at his shirt and held on tightly. "A-are they really gone?"

'well...you-know-who's dead, so...'

His breath caught and he leaned back to stare at Xander. "Really?"

'Well, its not something i would joke about'

He couldn't believe it. "He's really gone? A-are you sure?"

'Yeah. Im sure. I saw him...the body...with my own eyes. trust me, hes dead.'

He let out a breath and rested his head on Xander's chest again. "Thank god..."

'Come on, kid. your stronger than having to lean against me...' He muttered, half attempting to step away

"I just need someone to hold me right now..." He thought of Bryn, but he wasn't here. Once again, he was left to his own devices while he was the most vulnerable.

he sighed quietly, but didnt complain, closing his eyes and resting agasint the wall

"Are you hurt? Did they hurt you?"

'nope. im just as perfect as normal.' he smiles, but it doesnt reach his eyes. 'little death eaters cant get me.'

"Good," he whispered.

'teddy...' He whispered. 'Ive told you not to care about me...'

"But I can't help it, Xander! I do care about you!" He clutched onto the boy desperate to let him know that he wasn't alone.

he put his hands over Teddys and pulled them away. 'Go andd find someonw who wont ed up hurting you. please.'

"No. Everyone I like hurts me, so I'm done with giving up. I'm fighting."

He clenched his jaw, looking away frm teddy
