Grand Staircase

'He says he's changing, and i'm giving him a chance but... he was clearly too arrogant for his own good.' he was stating the obvious, giving up on it. He settled for pressing his lips delicately to Teddy's as a response.

'But no, being too confident wouldn't help me.'

He took Bryn's hand in his. He sat down on the stairs and pulled Bryn down with him. He rested his head on his boyfriend's shoulder. "God you made an absolute mess with that glitter."

His smile was lazy, comfortable even. 'Glitter's good though, you can't be upset for too long if you're covered in sequins and glitter.' Bryn's logic was flawed, but he clearly didn't care, placing his arm around Teddy's waist and hugging him closer.

IC A devilish idea formed as soon as Bryn had spoken those words. Glancing up at his boyfriend he smiled mischievously.

'We're going to have a glitter fight?' he questioned, smiling already.

"'Glitter fight' makes it sound wimpy and girly. No, we're having a glitter war."

He stood up and faced Bryn. "Unless you're too scared to take me on." He winked playfully. His hands were behind his back, secretly summoning glitter.

'But I am a girl at heart.' he insisted, winking. 'Play fair though.'

"Of course. Any rules you wish to lay on the table before we start my good sir?" His fist was now full of glitter. He could feel some of it slipping silently out of his hand and to the floor.

'No aims to the face, it's a bitch to get out of your eyes, apart from that..' Bryn jumped back, already prepared.

He couldn't hold back any more. He smiled and threw his fistful of glitter at Bryn's chest. He laughed, "Begin!"

He dived for a pot of crimson glitter, aiming it in Teddy's direction. 'Let's see how you like being a lion..'

He giggled and tried to dodge the cloud of red glitter. "Ew, no! I'm a claw at heart." He scooped up some multicolored glitter from the floor and threw it in the general direction of his boyfriend.

Shielding his eyes, he unwittingly stepped directly into the cloud of glitter, hissing. 'Damn it, that's going to go into my hair..' he almost whinged, kicking the glitter back into the air.

"Aw, I always wanted a sparkly boyfriend," he teased.

'Gee, you sound like Bella from Twilight.' he commented, chuckling. 'We can both be sparkly fairies together.'

He looked at Bryn with disgust. "Ew, don't ever mention that abomination ever again."

'Good, it's the bane of the muggle world.' he mumbled, shaking his head.

"I know. One of my friends had the biggest crush on Emmett for the longest time. Actually I'm pretty sure he's still got a crush on him." He rolled his eyes. "It's annoying."

ic 'I pity you.' Bryn followed this statement by sprinkling glitter down Teddy's arms.

He looked at Bryn and flicked his glitter-covered fingers at him. "Jerk." He smiled and scooped some more up off the ground. He slowly sprinkled it all over Bryn's hair.

'Not the eyes!' he shrieked again, immediately covering them. 'You're so mean..'

He ruffled Bryn's hair playfully, watching the glitter fly. "You look so hot though!"

'As do you.' he practically sprung to life, garnering more glitter and showering it over Teddy.

He stood there as the glitter rained down on him. "So who wins the glitter war?"

'Call it a draw?' he wanted to compromise.
