Crouch's Redemption (RP)

Artemis: "They want to destruction of Voldemort just as we do."

Crest: "I don't trust them."

OOC Remind me WHY Crest wasn't picke again?

Walking into the Great hall, i sat down by myself- not paying attention to the whispers going on around me.

I walk in causing everyone to start questioning if it was true or not.

I look up and smile at Crouch. 'Whats with the gossip mill today?'

"Apparently word got out that I've shifted my priorities to defeating The Dark Lord faster than expected..."

My eyes widen slightly (Rivers having a slow day, apparetly, not having heard of her own brothers change of heart.) as I glance around the hall, watching the students pass on the mssage. 'Well, i supose that is something that would travel fast...'

I scowl a bit to myself, "He betrayed me..."

I look at him sadly. 'What do you think ive been trying to tell you for all this time?'

"here... I'll show you." i point my wand at her forehead and the memory plays out,

-Years back when Crouch as running from his family in the rain, starving and tired. A dying soldier had more life than I did.

Eventually a black mass approaches me and drops his hood to reveal his face,

"A young one like you shouldn't travel these roads so ill-prepared."

I pull out my wand, "Who are you?"

"I am Lord Voldemort, and I have seen your young skills in magic. Join with me my friend, we could use your talents."

Something about this man just completely made me distrust him. He gave off this aura that was the exact opposite of everything good.

"Forget it." I say as I go to walk past him.

The man then swishes his wand and instantly hunger and thirst eat away at me, eventually I fall down into the mud. The puddle surrounding me was a moat in it's own right.

"You shall join me Crouch Jr the IV... one way or another." He points his wand at my forehead and alters my memory to the one I had operated off of that got me to join the Death Eaters.

I stare open mouthed at crouch. 'thats...evil.' My eyes narrow. 'Im going to kill him.'

"get in line, he's mine first."

I laugh quielty. 'Question is, Crouch, are you strong enough to beat him on your own?'

"I already know I can't. I used everything I had when I learned this and couldn't even scratch him."

'Then i will help you.' I say quielty.

"Absolutely not. I'm not having you get hurt because of my revenge."

I roll my eyes. 'Crouch, do you know how....stupid that sounds? I hurt even when you supported him- and you know that you cannot stop me helping you.'

"Don't let this get to your head though... after he's gone, the Ministry's still next."

I smile. 'once hes gone, ill go back to trying to stop you destrying everything.'

"You truly are too persistent..."

'Its called being stubborn, crouch. a trait we share, i think.' I smile 'But for this one thing, you know you have my help.'

"You know River, with the Dark Lord no longer my master, I can openly acknowledge you."

I frown slightly. 'But with you being a blood traitor is that wise?'

"I have enemies on both sides, I think it's more than safe to say I have nothing really at stake anymore."

'True...'

"So, I get to see what lifes like with the good guys..." I scoff.
