" we can start tomorrow if you want to, but right now I think you could seriously use some sleep" she smiled sweetly before tousling his hair a little.

He nodded and lay down on the couch. Within minutes he was out like a light.

She stroked his hair softly as he did simply marvelling at him a little. She had never felt this close to someone this fast, or have the odd desire to protect someone as much.

He was beginning to feel the lonliness that he had felt at home creep into him again. Consuming him like a fire.

Sitting on the couch, tuning out Joshua and Seventeen, he stared at the floor, not really seeing anything.

IC Saph burst through the door a bit out of breath though looking happier a decent size box in her hand wrapped neatly as she smiled at Kevin "look I'm really sorry I've been away, but I think I brought something to make it up to you."

He looked up as Sapphire burst into the room, a smile gracing his lips. "Hello! I've so much to tell you. I went exploring and I met people. None of them were very nice though."

Seventeen stopped what she was doing and serapes with excitement at Sapphire. She ran to go hug her, but Joshua grabbed her shirt. "No tackling Sapph, Seventeen."

"Aw, but I wanted to give her a hug," she pouted.

"You can, just without tackling her."

Kevin looked over at the pair and shook his head trying to contain his laughter. "Seventeen really missed you. She wants to give you a hug."

She looked at him curiously at first "where did you go?" she didn't like the idea of him meeting the shady guys that hung out around the bar, but then she smiled sitting the daintily wrapped box next to Kevin "well I wouldn't say no to a hug ever."


( just to let you know the box has like an awesome artist kit in it.. the works.. brushes, paints ,pastels, oils. pencils and different size easels)

Seventeen cheered and ran over to Sapphire and hugged her tightly. "Okay, I'm happy now."

Kevin laughed. "She says she's happy now." He opened the box and saw all the awesome artist tools he could ever wish for. "Sapph, where'd you get this? It's amazing!"

"Bro, she asked you a question."

He looked over a Joshua. "Huh?"

"She asked you where you've been."

"Oh, right. I went to Hogwarts."

she sat down next to him "I'm glad Seventeen is happy... and I picked this up in the states.. I saw it and thought of you instantly... who'd you meet at Hogwarts.. there's a group of people there not very nice at all.. best avoided really.. I'd say I wish you had waited for me, but it's not fair to keep you cooped up here."

"Um, three people. Lewis, Brogan, and Ace. Brogan amused me with his words. It sounded like he was trying to make himself sound bigger and better than he is. He also called me things that I'm not." He laughed at the memory of his encounter with Brogan.

He was looking at all the tools in fascination.

At Brogan's name a smile whispered across her lips "he's a bit different, but he grows on you after a while. .. so do you like it?" she was looking at the painting set feeling quite pleased with her choice.

He beamed. "I love it." An idea struck him, but he didn't want to voice it. He knew she'd say no.

"I'm glad you do!" she looked at him curiously for a moment "you look like you just had a strike of genius, but tried to hide it.. what's up?"

"Would you... Would you model for me?" he asked, blushing furiously.

She smiled brightly "sure! I'd love to"

He smiled brightly. "Great!" He got up and set up his new easel and canvas. He pulled up a chair next to the easel and then directed his attention back to Sapphire. "Um, can you just kind of, be yourself? I want to capture your essence in this. Just do whatever's natural for you."

Joshua put an artist cap on his head and tilted his head to the side, holding up his thumb. "Yes, to the left a little. Hold your head right there. Ah, beautiful darling," he said in a fake French accent.

Seventeen giggled. "Joshie stop being silly. Kevin needs to concentrate."

"so just kinda do something I normally would?' cuz really I'm always myself.. dunno how to be anything else."


ooc hey check your PM had an idea!

He nodded. "Just sit there and act all casual. You know, just pretend we're having a conversation. I mean we are having a conversation, but pretend that I'm not going to sketch you." He shut himself up because he realized that he was rambling. "Just get comfortable."

She smiled brightly "that's pretty easy for me I love to talk!" she turned to face him sitting with her legs folded "So how long have you, Seventeen and Joshua been friends?"

( ooc really sorry about all my belays in replies lately things have been a bit crazy lately)

He picked up a charcoal pencil and took one last long look at her. As if his hand had a mind of its own he began sketching an outline of her body. "Uh, I thunk I met Joshua when I was about two. Seventeen was a few years after that. Harp was the first one I ever met though. Things were pretty bad when he was around."

He cleared his throat. "As you probably saw when we were at the cottage, I kind of lose my control when he's around. He scares me."

"that's a pretty long time.." her eyes watched the grace of his hand "you know we all have people that make us lose control.. it's like they know exactly what to say to twist our will into what they want."

"Harp is just very forceful. He'll do anything to make you do what he wants. He's hit me, bit me, yelled at me, punched me, scared me. He's done everything you can think of."

He stopped sketching for a second thinking about all the abuse he's been through. It saddened him to know that he'd have to deal with that for the rest of his life.

Concern filled her eyes as she reached out touching his leg lightly "that's completely horrible. I can't even imagine what it must have been like living with that.. but I wont let anything hurt you here.. "
