He's after your brother, Phoenix, a part of my mind whispers. I thought I'd managed to bury that part, the bit that encouraged me to go after Mortem in the first place, but apparently not. Crouch's lessons must've freed it. Your brother. You can't let that slide.

Well, he probably wasn't very innocent, but that's not the point.

Crack! the thick branch seemed to creak, before keeling over and splitting cleanly into two.

I cross my arms and narrow my eyes, looking a bit like a tantrum-throwing child. "Lord knows Artisan can do with being treated as a normal person - his ego is far too big, even if it is funny - so go ahead and yell at him or whatever. But hurting him is over the line for me."
