I simply ignore his comments. I'll only make things worse if I react. I have no doubt that he'll still threaten Eugene if he has to.

Besides, it'll only slow me down. I need to get away from the tower - now.

I make my way down the stairs again.

He was sat on the wall, spinning the ring around his finger as he thought. Tomas didnt even hear his sister approch, but he looked up and she took hold of his hand.
'Worried?'
He smiled at her. 'Not about this. Other things.'
'Care to share them, little brother?' Krystal asked, already knowing what he was thinking about, but wanting hiim to admit it.
'not really.'
SHe sighed. 'Tommy....I know what you are going to do. About Em. You dont have to think i will hate you, i wont. Promise.'
He looks up at her, not even bothering to hide the shock on his face. 'Your...not?'
'Not really. We are both differnt people. maybe one day, i will learn to forgive and forget too.'
Tomas smiled slightly. 'You know, Kry, you would have more friends if you showed the caring side more.'
'I know.' SHe laughed, squeezing his hand before walking away from him.

She climbed the steps to the astronomy tower, grateful for the silence that washed over her, stressfree for a moment.

TOmas looked over to see who had come up, but didnt say anything to the girl, getting out a peice of parchment and a quill from his bag.

She swiftly skipped over, listening to him write. 'Who are you owling to?'

'Im not olwing anyone.' He whisled, and waited a moment for the large Kite to fly down. 'Hey Emerald.' He stroked the bird, then gave it the letter, watching as it flew down to the grounds. 'Its a letter for Emily.'
