So after seeing other people doing their pieces, I gave in and wanted to write some random stuff to put up here. -Flexes her fingers and gets to work-

Subject: Lost Mon May 21, 2012 7:19 pm

I think I'll start off with something related to RP. This will be Phoenix if she'd ignored all help given to her at the beginning of her werewolf years, but she'd lost it more than she did in the alternate universe.

I live in death. Revel in it. I give no consideration for the humans that offer me my entertainment. Seeing their crippled bodies makes me smile wickedly, where I might have hated myself if things had turned out differently.

All of my humanity is gone; not a whisper is left. I only care about myself. Where will I go today? What will I do with my spare time? What humans are available?

Sometimes I wonder if I make Greyback look tame, but then I lose myself. Thoughts aren't important. They're boring. Plans and rules to live by. Instinct is far more interesting. Who knows what's around the corner?

Pixie after her death.

At the moment I died, I wanted nothing more than to comfort Phoenix. I wanted to wipe away the tears that spilled down her cheeks and tell her that everything would be ok, even if I was lying through my teeth. It hurt to see her so upset and be utterly helpless.

Over time things improved for her. I watched as much as I could, giving her privacy when it was due. I ached to be with her and away from this clear white world which was now a prison. Even the company of the grandfather I had never known wasn't the same.

I wish that I hadn't been so foolish as to stay behind at the battle. Maybe if I'd left I would have come back one day and Phoenix would have welcomed me with open arms. Maybe I would have survived. Maybe there wouldn't be a Pixie-shaped hole in my twin's beating heart, and maybe there wouldn't be the cracks in my soul that deepened the longer I watched over her.

xD Thanks, River! I'll do some more in a minute. I might do some stuff unrelated to RP at some point, just some random idea that's stuck in my head and I don't know how to turn into an actual story.

I have Panic! at the Disco's Memories stuck in my head. Not quite sure who's narrating this.

With my face turned up to the pouring rain, I could almost forget everything. All the pain, the loss, the horror... Slipping away like the water on my skin.

The trouble was, I didn't want to forget. I wanted those memories, wanted them to stay until the day I died. I wanted to cling to them and never let them go. But they faded. The human mind eventually fails and lets them sink to the bottom of the murky pool.

Oh memories, where'd you go?
You're all I've ever known.
How I miss yesterday
And how I let it fade away.

The song circled my brain in an almost taunting fashion, reminding me of what I no longer had. I put my head down and splashed through the puddles, heading home. The lyrics continued to repeat, the first line sticking the most:

Oh memories, where'd you go?

You've all inspired me to write more now, and Phoenix these made me go 'aww' out loud...everyone's looking at me now xD

Whispered promises. Murmurs of "I love you." They couldn't last. Of course they couldn't. A relationship like this wasn't meant to. It was purely because of the need that it lingered for so long. It was like a plant; beautiful in its prime but, slowly, the leaves wilted and died.

When the time came for it to finally end, it was with a heavy heart that she attempted to leave. She would miss it, but it was for the best. He knew that, but she was the one to finally admit that it wasn't going to work anymore.

A shock ran through her as she saw him standing there, shirt rumpled from where he'd fallen asleep on the sofa. His eyes zeroed in on the suitcase in her hand. "What...?"

"I'm sorry," she said, hiding her face. "I don't love you... I wish I could but I don't."

He was silent. She heard him shuffling his bare feet on the wooden floor. "Right..." A burst of anger flared through him when he realised she was crying.

"I'm so sorry," she said in a choked whisper. She left quickly, closing the door firmly behind her. I don't love you like I loved you yesterday.

I couldn't resist putting the lyrics in at the end :3 I almost put in "So fix your eyes and get out" in as well, but I didn't want to overdo it.

Fear. It holds you in an iron grasp, squeezing the breath from your lungs until you can only gasp painfully. It's almost taunting sometimes; it disappears for a moment, then returns in full force, maybe stronger than before. But, eventually, it has to vanish, one way or another. What it leaves in its wake is uncertain, and different every time. Happiness? Sorrow? Neither?
