"Ha! Buddy, you ran outta luck the minute you chose to fight me..." I pull my wand out with a confident smirk.

Logan shrugged.

"Good thing I don't believe in luck then, isn't it?"

This makes my smirk go to a full fledged grin, "You will after this... ladies first."

Logan leaned forward slightly.

"I'm waiting."

"No no I insist, Leia!"

"Well, if you do insist."

He aimed his wand at Topher.

"So, where do you want it?"

"I'll give a galleon if you can hit anywhere..."

"Well, guess who's buying the next round at Hogsmead!"

Logan mockingly closed one eye and stuck out his tongue, pretending to concentrate.

"Stupefy."

"Pfft good luck..." I watch his wand with my evil eyes, lacing it in bad luck.

Logan's aim moved slightly off-target, but not enough that he would notice himself. His smile faded as he noticed the spell fly off in the distance missing Topher by literally miles.

"What the-?" Logan was confused; he was sure his aim was perfect.

"Man, you REALLY need to work on your aim..." I smirk at him confidently as I cross my arms.

Logan froze in embarrassment. He stood in shock for a moment.

"Well?" He shook himself out of it in a fit of anger "It's your move isn't it?"

"Yeah I guess it is..." I point my wand at him. Admittedly my dueling skills weren't as good as they could be but they could get the job done if I needed it. That and with luck on my side... I look down at my wand, casting some good luck on it.

"Expellarmius!"

"Well played."

Logan seemed excited to see the wand fly out of his hand. He clapped slowly.

"Though it will take more than that to defeat me."

Logan weighed a pouch he was carrying on his waist.

Hmm...Not yet.

He slowly walked over to his wand to retrieve it, turning his back to Topher.

Well this IS a clear shot, "Flippendo!"

Logan turned, calling "Protego." while extending his right index finger. The shield protected him from the jinx.

"A powerful, yet simple, spell." He spoke as if he were teaching.

Logan regained his wand, and scolded Topher: "Fighting while you opponent's back is turned," He waved his index finger back-and-forth "I would've thought you to know better than that."

Logan again aimed his wand at Topher.

"Expelliarmus."

Shocked that he was able to conjure a spell without a wand, the spell knock my wand aside, "Cards on the table, I'm not exactly Captain Chivalry."

"Nevertheless, I choose to remain a gentleman."

Logan motioned for Topher to retrieve his wand.

"Don't worry, I'll wait."

"Well I appreciate that..." I walk over toward my wand, but keep Lewis in my peripherals just in case.

Logan straightened his back and held his hands behind his back.

"Oh, don't worry about me; I'll wait your turn."

"Ya know, fighting ain't exactly a game of chess..." I pick up my wand and turn back to face him.

Logan shrugged "What can I say? I'm traditional."

"and I don't play by rules, so where does that leave us?"

"Well, if you don't want me to play by the rules, I'll happily oblige. But for now, I'd rather not jeopardise my family's honour."
