"Love ya too, Krystal..." He smiled at her, his heart filled with happiness he never knew. His earlier years just seemed so.. empty looking back at it now.

'i know.'

"Ya know I'm curious, you've never dated anyone else?"

'no...'

"Their loss..." He shrugged.

'You dont think im...stupid or something? or worried that no one ever wanted me for a reason?'

"Not really, I imagine the standoffish attitude was what did the trick."

'I do not have a standoffish attitude!'

"You did before! You wanted nothing to do with me!"

She grinned. 'You, Joachim. no one else.'

"What made me so special?"

She laughs quietly. 'where do I start?'

"Eh try me.."

'You were a rule breaker, and got away with it. God, it angered me that I could not do anything. Escpecilly, when you would smile smugly and try to get me drunk. It just...annoyed me. and then.' SHe shrugged. 'You proved me wrong on...some things. And that made me hate you more. Because you were right.'

"Honestly, I always thought you were a stick in the mud. A constant pain in my ass trying to preach to me. Always giving me the holier than thou crap..."

"But hey, you had some points..."

'I did?' she smiled. 'What points?'

"Well I mean... before I didn't give two shits about anyone but me. But look at the friends I got now! You, Topher, Sawyer, and Lucy..."

she smiled. 'Bet I still annoy you though.'

"Oh to death, but still...' He kissed her cheek.

'My goals in life are complete.' she smiles. 'well, most of them.'

"Well got most of mine done. I'm rich, respected, loved... only one little thing left and I'm golden!"

'Oh? and what little thing is that?'

An owl flaps its wings aggressively through the warehouse, shrieking loudly with a letter attached to its spindly claw.

"Well, a fun time with y..." Before he could finish his lewd flirt, he saw the owl and went over to it, "What the hell do you want?" He asked as he took the letter, opening it in a rush.
