Rosie nods slowly. 'Exactly. And what does River last remember? my father is horrible and my brother protects me. She can only remember what is before the time that her mind was hurt. Its like her mind is trying to fight the illness but failing- so its eaten everyting that was hurt.'

"In essence... everything..." Crouch concluded, "You'd better have a cure for this, or you'll need one for something much different..."

He groaned. "This whole situation is giving me a killer headache." He rubbed his forehead. "Please tell me that there is something you can do to help her."

'I read something else.' Roise sighed, her eyes studling River as she spoke, as if making sure she was still alright. She ran her hand through her hair, a stressful movement. 'I dont know if its true, but apparently the only other perosn in the last few years to get this...he survived because someone he loved went and found a man who knew what to do. But....a sacifice of some sort is needed. I dont know what though.'

He sat there in silence waiting for an answer that he knew would come. By this point he was willing to anything regardless of the consequences just to get his wife back.

'That is all i know. Im sorry.'

'You WILL be sorry if you don't give me more to work with..." He grabbed the healer and pointer his wand to her throat as he smiled crazily.

He stood up quickly. "Like hell that's all you know!"

'It is! Look....everyone else has given up on river, either because she is going to die or because of you two. I am trying my best, ok?'

"I think a crucio may jog her memory a little don't you think Deathy?"

"I think a Legilimens (?) curse will help her. Dig through every memory she has until we find what we need because I WILL NOT SIT AROUND AND WAIT WHILE THE PERSON WHO KNOWS HOW TO HELP MY WIFE TWIDDLES HER THUMBS!" He was so angry that he was actually shouting at the woman. Usually he never lost his temper like that.

'Stop it! both of you!' I jumped up and tried to shield he healer with my body, looking between the two boys, shocked. 'What are you doing?'

"Getting some more information..."

He reached up and touched her shoulders gently. "River please, we need to find out who this man is. He can help you and I can't lose you." He motioned to Crouch. "He cares too. He's helping me find someone who can get you back to normal. It won't be pretty obtaining that information but it needs to be done."

'You cant hurt her! Shes helped me! Your....' I look at crouch. 'This is evil.'

"What's your point?" Crouch asked starting to grow impatient at them both.

"Then what would you have us do River?"

my eyes harden. 'If your going to be cruel, you can go away. Id rather be dying than know i got better because you hurt someone else.'

"Oh come on, I promise not to kill her afterwards, happy?"

He put a hand up in front of Crouch signaling for Crouch to shut up. "No harm will come to her."

'its not RIGHT!'

"Nothing in the world is 'RIGHT' River..."

"And right now, it's wearing my patience a little thin..."

He turned to Crouch. "May I have a word with you outside the room?"
