I sigh with deep sadness
"My matesprite..." she looked a little confused at the terminology I had used, "it's what you humans would refer to as a "boyfriend"."

IC My face turns even more sympathetic; I can't even imagine losing Crest. "I'm so sorry... That's awful!"

My eyes turn somber
"Someone I thought I could trust forced him to kill me..." My voice shakes a bit "He was....so upet...and now he is gone." I look away, my long hair covering over my face.

IC I place a hand on her shoulder, "I'm sorry... No one should have to go through that."

I give her a solem smile
"It's quite fine...he knew he would die soon anyways. And, I am quite adept to witnessing death..."

"Oh..." I don't really know what to say to that. I can't imagine losing the love of my life, let alone just witnessing death like an every day thing.

I sigh
"You get used to it if you live around it long enough. I have noticed that difference in troll and human culture; death seems to be a lot less common here..."

"Oh... Wow..." With all the war there is in the world I would think differently. "How long do you guys live?"

"It differs depending on your blood color as a troll. Higher ones are physically stronger and live much longer, whereas lower bloods...like myself... Have a rather frail physique but, in turn..." I hold my hand up, telekineticaly juggling some pebbles
"We are more probe to having a wide variety of powerful psychic powers."

My eyes widen with interest and I smile. "I'm a telekinetic too..." I lift a pebble with my mind, but I'm not as good as she is with it.

"It takes practice" I say, having read her thoughts a bit.
"I had... all the time in the world to get as good as I am now. You can be that way as well." I smile at her

Sapphire reached out trying her hardest to grab the small kitten stuck in the tall branches of a looming tree a small exasperated sigh escaping her as the kitten moved out of her reach yet again "come on you stupid furball I'm trying to help."

A spell hits the tree and it starts to shake as the kitten falls down into her arms, "Sometimes you have strong arm these things.."

Sapphire cradled the shaking feline in her arm as she climbed down carefully. Her eyes met his for a moment smiling sweetly "Thanks.. poor little guy was completely freaked."

"Did it hear I was coming or something?"

She giggled "no.. I'm thinking some of my unfortunate house mates might have been through here.." she cuddled the small black and white cat which was purring now.

"Want me to make sure they don't do it again?"

She grinned a little "if you wanted to.. though depending on your method."

"Depends on if they have Dark Marks or not."

"None means a week or three in the hospital, having one... spending time as worm food."

"kinda harsh.. I think messing up the common room will be more fun for me."

"Messing up the common room?"

I look confused, that wasn't... severe at all.

She giggled "not everything requires a trip to the hospital in the end.. I find a little havoc can do the trick"

"But how can they learn their lesson that way?" My adopted parents always taught me that pain was the only teacher for those who do wrong.

"you'd be surprised.. I mean I've done some pretty bad things, but you wouldn't want to put me in the hospital wing..right?"

"No..." But that's for a whole different reason.
