My owl flies in with my wand and River's letter. Opening it I find the wand and hand it out to them, "Here you are."

I crumble up the note and stuff it into my pocket. That linked River to the crime.

She takes the wand and walks over to Smith. 'Is this the one you saw?'

I take it and look it over throughly, "Yes, this is it."

I grab Artemis's arm, "You're going to have to come with us."

She smiles grinly. 'Should have kept your wand lost'

I understand at once what had happened. River gave Death my wand to let him escape. And I thought she only did that to stop me from stopping her.

River really doesn't care anymore.

"Yes... I should've." I can't muster up any effort to fight back, far too downtrodden by the betrayal.

ooc...hmm, should i have riv walk in to see him be taken off?

she takes his other arm, holding it tightly. 'Come on, Mr Strayer. Its best not to fight this, we all know what you did.'

"I will put up no fight."

Auror- 'Wise thing to do.'

River- I walk in, my eyes widening as i take in the scene. 'Artemis? Whats going one?'

I look up at River disheartened, every warm word frozen to death in despair, "Exactly what it looks like, I'm going to Azkaban for helping Death escape."

'What? No...no. You cant take him!' I cry, running up to them and trying to pull the two aurors away. 'he didnt do anything'

'It doesnt look like that, Miss.' Jones said.

"Goodbye River, have a good life. But then again that won't be hard, you have everyone you care about in it."

Smith: I point my wand at the annoying girl, "Step back. Now."

'No! he hasnt done anything wrong!' I step back and cover my face. 'Oh, god, this is my fault. what have i done?'

"Come along." I start taking Artemis away.

Jones looks at the girl. 'None of knew that Mr Strayer would do this, its not your fault'

River- 'but it is.' i whisper, watching them leave. A sharp stab hits me in the chest- it takes me a second to reaslise what it is. Not just giult, but pure pain to what i had done to my friend. I had to stop this.

"Just do me one favor, River. If you ever cared about me as a friend, tell Liria I'm sorry for this and I will see her at my trial.."

"But if you never did, go and have a laugh with your husband and brother."

'Ill tell her. But...' I shake my head. 'I didnt think this would happen.'

"River, just stop trying to blame yourself for this." I snip at her.

I stare at him. 'Whynt? Why dont you hate me, why are you doin this?!'

OOC Me: "I agree, that needs an answer."

"You're my friend, River. I value my friend's a LOT."

'I dont deserve to be your friend. not after this. But...I will soon.'

OCO Me: "Again, legit point."

'I wont try, i will succed.'

'Look, things are easier this way for you. I'll testify and take whatever the law gives me."

'I dont care if its easier for me! I will not let you get ruined for this!'
