'No, it's fine, i'm just not used to company.' she admitted, one of her eyes twitching as she still held no interest in her reading.
why must i still be doing this? she was even questioning her own motives, unsure why she'd trapped herself in an odd sort of vengeance mission.

"How long have you been at this?"

'I....uhm...' she counted on her fingers. 'Two, three months at least?' the girl had lost track after the first few weeks, she hadn't seen it necessary to count.

"Everyone needs a break, it's only human."

'Well i dont want a break.' she announced dismissively, clearly not caring. 'There's nothing else id like to do but this; it keeps off occupied.'

"It might not be what you want, but that's what's healthy."

'Fuck my health.' she retorted sharply. 'I'm not sane, there's no need to act like i am.'

She seemed calmer than she previously had been, the dark circles usually shadowing her light grey eyes gone for now. Scribbling frantically into a notepad, she ignored everything else around her.

I look toward Sam, "You were incredible back there." I look at Ace, and address her, skipping straight to the point, "Vampire servants, what do you know about them?" Although it didn't come off as such, I actually admired her intelligence and knowledge.

I smile, feeling a bit proud of myself for once. "Thanks..."

'hi to you too.' she nodded to Sam in brief greeting, she hadn't seen either of them for months.
'It depends, they vary from myth to myth..' she lifted her book to emphasise her point.
