Crouch: I run inside, "What is it my lord?"

Voldemort: "You can be cleansed of your failure... by killing her."

Crouch: My eyes widen to the widest they've ever been, "My Lord! I'd dare not question you but... that's... my wife..."

Ic Her jaw was set determinedly as she starred Voldemort down "I knew you were cruel Tom, but this is pushing it." She had said his name with such venom as she grew mire livid by the second.

Voldemort: "Bite your tongue! Crouch, fulfill your master's orders. She has betrayed you... betrayed me!"

Crouch: I just back myself up against the wall to hold myself up looking to both of them piteously.

"I'm not betraying him, I'm going to keep our daughter safe whether I'm in your service or not!" She looked at Crouch now "Love.. He wants me to leave Alexis.. I can't do that. I'm done taking orders from him..we don't need him." Her eyes were pleading with him to stand with her. She knew together they could make it out of this unscathed.

Voldemort: "Don't be stupid boy, I have raised you from nothing. All you have now, you have because of me. Besides, there are other woman more loyal to me that would gladly court you."

"Don't turn your back on the one who gave you the purpose of your existence."

Voldemort's words sent her over the edge then, her vision seemed blur as her scarlet gaze returned to Tom with a spacey smile twitching the corners of her mouth "your lies cease to amuse me... You're frightened he'll replace you..that he can succeed in all the ways you have failed." She walked toward Voldemort now her steps light, But her entire body was poised ready to pounce.

Voldemort: "Ridiculous, Crouch... I will not ask a third time. Kill this woman or I shall. And you know I shall not be fast about it."

Crouch: How... how can all this be going so wrong? My master pitting me against my wife, threatening my daughter.

Was... the Dark Lord, but another in a long line of deceivers in my life?

Strain, pressure, pain.......

All of a sudden, glass seems to shatter in my mind. In the shards plays a memory. One I have felt was pushed into the deepest, darkest crevices of my mind. One long buried at last breathing new air.

"No..."

"What do you mean boy?"

"I don't want to join you."

A younger me? Defying the Dark Lord? But when we first met I was entranced by him.

The cloaked embodiment of evil points his wand at my younger form and increases my hunger and starvation to the point of death, focring me to fall on my hands and knees. He approaches me as I look up to find his wand at my forehead,
"You will join me Crouch Jr the IV, one way or another."

Emptiness.


It was a lie. None of what I remembered of our first meeting was true.

My master.. He had lied to me, betrayed me from the start!

"HOW DARE YOU!!!!"

Ic she could feel the odd array emotions flowing out of Crouch and she tensed as anger washed over her, their connection making her sway slightly from the intensity. Her eyes glanced between the two for a moment in confusion staying silent.

OOC I'm sorry, this twist technically is cannon but Crouch not being a DE is just... killing me. It's like throwing the universe out of alignment for me.

Voldemort: "That's regrettable but not irreversible." I pull out my wand again and cast an even stronger memory charm upon Crouch. In a matter of moments Crouch blinks and looks at around, "What has happened, my Lord?"

oc its alright! I can't see Crouch as anything but a DE. Amy on the other hand has mentioned before and strongly believes Crouch would make a better Dark Lord.

Ic anger surged through her more than ever before as she threw herself at Voldemort with a furious growl teeth ready to tear his throat out.
