The Grounds

The Russian chuckled to himself, another puff of light fog curling about his face.

"I prefer staying quiet and unnoticed. They only care when their faces are laying bloodied in the snow~"

He turned his face back toward Donia, smirking.
"Kolkolkol~"

She didn't seem disquieted by his smirk, advancing on him by another small step. 'you don't think i can keep my mouth shut?' There was a trace of humour in her eyes, one not found often. 'we're in the same boat..'

Russia was slowly getting more and more anxious around this girl.

He eyed her harshly, hatred now forming a sour aura about him. One wishing she would just back off.

"Same boat? You are stronger than most, I see, da?"

She lifted her palms in a defensive, calming motion. 'I ain't going to attack you, no need to be so brash..'

Donia cleared her throat, finding her tongue stuck to the roof of her mouth. 'i could be stronger, i certainly hold my own if required.'

Why was he so.. Volatile?

Russia didn't react any different from how he was now.
Still slightly upset with a touch of anxious.

He eyed her harshly before looking away again.

"Doesn't matter, Da."

'it does..im sorry i upset you.' The words almost refused to leave her mouth, like she'd been trying to chew glass. Donia never sincerely apologised like she just had.

Arms still folded, a quiet sigh escaped her lips.

Ivan blinked, almost surprised to hear an apology.
One that sounded actually calm. But... strangely forced.

He looked her over quickly, gloved hands stuffed in his coat pockets.

"Is.... fine."
He was surprised at her reaction. People rarely tried to upset him, and they often bumbled over themselves to hurry and apologize when he was upset.
"... all fine, da? See? Ivan is fine."

She tried to level out her own expression, save for the thin smile that stretched across her lips. 'good, couldn't go upsetting someone who i am a lesser being to, as you so eloquently put it.'

Her smile had morphed into a more sarcastic one, but her apology still rang mostly sincere. 'good evening.' With a bob of her head, Donia headed back to the castle, stifling her chuckles.

Ivan was entertaining, to say the least.

Ooc night

Even if Madam Pomfrey was a stern woman, she was a good mentor. She knew so much about magical treatments it was unreal. Even some of the ingredients she asked me to get were unorthodox but I trust her methods.

I look over at the one who extended a greeting and reply in kind, "Oh good day!"

"Me? Well I'm out to get some supplies for Pomfrey, evidently some ingredients are found in Hagrid's garden. What about you?"

"I must say that is an astounding gift you have. I too have an interest in herbology." I smile at him, he seemed like a agreeable man.

"Exploit this? Why would they want to do that? This gift can do so much good!"

"Well, just a question, what exactly CAN you grow with it? Do you have control over it or is it random?"

"Ahh anger management. I went through all that."

"Well... let's just say rage wasn't my choice. But skipping to the part of the story relevant to you, I developed a few techniques to keep it under wraps. I can teach you them if you wish."
