i suddenly grin. 'you told me not to change, therefore i am going to carry on being stubborn, crouch. he is soming with us. end of.'

-Scoffs- Fine than... I hope he has his own way back... because I'm not helping him unless I know who he is...

I shrug. 'im sure i can help him.'

Galen walks in, smiling. he could tell that they had talked to each other. he walks up to River. 'Feeling better?'
River nods.
he turns to crouch. 'Mr crouch, are you feeling better now?'

-I just narrow my eyes at Galen- I'm sorry, do I look like I'm in a bed to you?

Galen smile. 'No, Mr Crouch. But i thought i would ask, after our talk earlier. you have obvioulsy taken what i said into account.'

-Glares- Might I recommend you stop talking or I might make you your own patient...

He laughs. 'You know, mr Crouch, for some strange reason, i find i quite like you.'
He turns to Elijah. 'I hear you have plans to leave with them? Are you sure it is what you want to do?'

-Scowls at Elijah-

nods and smiles

-Sarcastic, To Elijah- Oh terrific...one more problem to deal with...

He smiles. 'Exelent, then. You are all free to go. I dont want to see any of you back here soon though- unless its to visit me!'

-Sarcastic- Oh sure... we can have tea and crumpets and... like hell I'm coming back here.

-I offer my hand- Ready Riv?

I pause, then take his hand, but holding my other hand out to Elijah, not caring about what crouch would think.

-To Elijah- You. You know how to aparate?

smiles and takes Rivers hand- Yes know how to apparate

-Growls at him- This will be the only time your filth will touch my sister's hand... -I take particular care to only apparate River and I out of there-

I glance apoligetically at Elijah before crouch apperates us out.

Ivor laid her down in a bed and slumped into a seat beside her, his hand going up to rub his forehead. He was dead tired after all of that. His other hand was still linked with Navy's, fingers intertwined.

I blink softly, my face still impasive. "Where?" It's all I can manage, my body is not agreeing with me and is trying to black me out. Where am I? I'm in agony but I need to stay awake... What if I don't wake up? I can hear two Mungos nurses argueing outside the room.

"We have to get to work on her straight away!"
"Just give her a moment, Richard! She needs a little time with the boy, she's been through a lot, we'll just upset them both if we seperate them."
"She's going to die!"
"Be quiet! They can hear you! A minute, that's all I ask."

I cough and a sprinkle of blood splatters the sheets.

He heard their words and his body tensed with each one. [i]'She's going to die!'[/ii] And what would you do then, Ivor? He could no longer imagine a life without her. She was the thing to come back for after the assassinations. The light at the end of a dark night. The one who took his hands and smiled, no matter how bloody they were. He clenched his teeth and stood and bent over her. "The nurses have to fix you now, Navy."
He brushed his lips against the corner of her eyes, the tip of her nose and kissed her gently on the lips.

My eyes finally closed and a tear went down my cheek. I didn't know if they could fix this. This wasn't something that often happened, the breakng of such an ancient bond. This was bound to be horrifying, if not the physical parts then the verbal. I would scream like a banshee. "You... need to... leave." I didn't want him to witness this. "I'll see you... school..."

"Pinky promise," he said, wrapping his little finger around hers, fear evident in his broken voice. He kissed away the tear. "Pinky promise, Navy." And then the nurses told him it was time he left and he gave Navy a desperate look, "I love you, no matter what." And left the room.

I smile, it was so pathetic I dropped it immediately and stare up at the ceiling, prepared for what was coming. "No matter what." And as the pain peaked the world around me blacked out.
