"I will certainly do my best to stop it, but ultimately the fate of us all comes down to a few individuals..." Severus, Harry, his friends... and so many other brave men and women who had done their part to stop the spread of evil.

| "I'd be appreciative of any effort you take Miss. River Seth- Crouch-Dolohov..."
"Of all the three names you've had, there is one that I'd prefered to know you by."
"River."
"You've always been true to yourself no matter what obstacle of past or present has been before you. You were always you. You may have stumbled a few times, but you've stood and rose and for that I am proud of you."
"Goodbye River, and may we meet again many years later..."
And at last, he placed one final hand on her shoulder before proceeding to the Astronomy tower to meet with another pupil of his, one destined to conquer the darkness. The same darkness that tugged at River's heart without relent yet she never caved. This put her a step above him. She never craved power, vengeance or control as he had in his more foolish years. She had a wisdom to see both sides and perhaps by any hope she was a key to unifying them.
One thing was for sure though...
She would be in his thoughts before Severus would finish him.

| The enterence of the office had been shut for a while. I wasnt sure, but it looked like I was one of the first to attempt to get into it for a while. I had already tried every password i have known for it, from muggle sweets to potion ingrediants, and at my last teather, i rested my head against the wall. 'What do you want? Snape, Dumbledore, headmaster, school, voldemort is dead, faith, love, forgiveness...' With the last one, the stairways started moving. I look at it, shocked, before stepping n. 'ust so you know, im not forgiving anyone.' I mutter, before reaching the door. I open it and step in, looking at the two headmasters- pictures of what they used to be | |

| There had been controversy toward including the headmaster during the prime days of Voldemort's reign. Many felt including a Death Eater's portrait in the head master's study would be of borderline blasphemous and disrespectful toward the more noble headmasters. But as more facts of his unsung heroism came to light, Snape's portrait was hung in the office however begrudgingly by many.
He was in the place where much of his time had been spent, in the dungeons at his desk. His very few sympathizers felt it would do well for the thankless savior to be remembered as he was during his time in the light.
Dumbledore was above the headmaster's desk, elevated as highly as his esteem in the wizarding world. The paragon of light was sitting at his chair, asleep in the portrait.
Both paintings would hang there to honorable testimonies to such great men and would hang to aide the next generations.
