"I'm sure he'll be fine. By the way what is it with him? Why's he so distant?" He watched her make circles on his palm and tried to keep still although it tickled a bit.

Distant? its because he's got no reason to let people close. He has no dark secrets, everyone pretty much knows everything about him, and he knows much about them. -Mer smiled and began tickling his hand now-

Bryn just doesn't do close, he only tries to look out for his siblings, who can defend themselves most of the time.

He squirms and pulls his hand out of her grasp. "Okay I think that is enough for right now. Are you hungry. I'm starving." He sits up.

He walks down to the massive kitchen. He grabs pots and pans and searches through the pantry. He starts cooking a simple casserole. "I'm no chef but I've learned a few things watching our chef, who is away on holiday right now." He smiles at her as he stirs the casserole.

He stands and walks to the window and opens it for the hawk. "Who's is that?"

-The hawk recited Bryn's smooth and calm voice- Hello sister, i hope you are doing well. I suggest you do not visit Hogwarts often during your time away, I fear there will be danger here. Not to worry, we will be fine.

I pray I will not need your help. -The hawk cawed and Mer stood, confused-

He raises an eyebrow at the message. "Interesting." He reaches out and gently strokes the hawk, "Where can I get one of these?"

-She jumped, realizing this patronus was tangible- It's a...patronus i think. But it looks like a hawk...Bryn's too clever for his own good. -Mer smiled- I suppose i better send a message back.

He smiles. "Very clever." He admires the solidity of the partronus. "He has got to teach me how to do that."

-She cast her mouse patronus, imbuing it with a message, speaking it aloud-

Hi Bryn! i am well at Tide's...um, you better not die or anything...and you shouldn't need my help brother, you're stronger than you look.

-Mer let the mouse scamper away, watching as the hawk went with it-
I wonder what Bryn's worried about? he wouldn't communicate otherwise. -She shrugged-

He watches the mouse and hawk leave. "Perhaps there has been some trouble with the Junior Death Eaters." He puts his arm around her shoulder, "He'll be fine I'm sure. You're not going anywhere." He laughs and wraps his arms around her. "You are my prisoner," he says in a Bulgarian accent.

He grins, and once again in a Bulgarian accent, "Oh, yes a very strict punishment. Several minutes of nonstop tickling." He tickles her just a bit to show her.

He laughs, "You are such a rebel sometimes. Anyways why would you want to leave? We're here all alone in this massive house and away from all that shit at Hogwarts." He kisses her cheek lightly.

-She smiled- Exactly, i can't thank you enough for this break, i don't think I can take much more of people wanting to beat us up.

I guess i naturally worry for the people i care about, but they'll be fine without me, they'll probably be glad they don't have to keep protecting me. -Her smile faltered a little-
