| The man gave a dark look, a soft nod.
He understood the sudden hurt this girl was causing her.
And the fact that she wanted Sydnay in Azkaban with no Dementors was a risky thing.
But...
Descole sighed.
"This will raise the risk that she might somehow break out, but.... If that is what you think, then we'll do so."
A dark look, Jean turned his face to Sydnay.

Cayden's hand latched onto his, giving him a rough squeeze as she faced him with a curt nod. 'If she has enough influence, she'll find her way out anyway.' her words were bitter and slightly irritated. | |

| The man remained quietly thoughtful.
At the hand-squeeze, he seemed to snap from the dazed state, as he looked at their hands together.
He gave her a reassuring thumb-stroke.
"Understandable. Fully... understandable.."
A pause, he looked up and closed his eyes, thinking.
Just thinking.
And for a moment, something inside of him twinged with sorrow toward the girl. A feeling towards Death Eaters he hadn't felt in a while.
A feeling only the motherless and father-fearing boy had ever felt.
Scowling, Descole shook his head to clear his thoughts.
"You better be thankful, Desouza... Not many people get the chance that you do.." | |

| 'I know. I'm sorry I couldn't answer your questions, the DE's the only family I got.' she whispered softly, barely audible as Sydnay glanced up at the pair.
Her skin tingled where Descole had ran his thumb, and she studied his expression before turning back to Sydnay.
'Well then, I suppose we better take you to Azkaban.' she didn't release her and Descole's hand though. | |

Though again, his heart ached at the very thought. The only family she had...

| 'I am doing good, I ain't gonna betray them. Thank you.' Sydnay had to be set in her belief now, the Death Eaters really were all she would have in the end, she wasn't going to do anything to make them turn on her.
'Never heard a prisoner say thank you before...' Cayden said under her breath, picking the girl up and taking her to Azkaban, one hand still entwined with Descole's.

Cayden was a strong woman.

He had paled a little bit since arriving from Azkaban, his fingers twitching slightly at his sides. He paused and inhaled, rubbing his temples slightly.
